Anticipation Statement ( English Blog 1)

"Any goal can be accomplished and any  obstacle can be overcome with enough courage and determination"

Any goal CAN be accomplished. Many people may think that not every goal can be accomplished, but i disagree. If someone really is determined enough they can do whatever. The other side says that if i want to jump over the empire building can I? No, but what they don't realize it has to be realistic goals. But, Hannah if that isn't realistic what about winning a gold medal for the highest jump at only 5 feet, that isn't realistic. Yes, it is humanly possible to win a gold medal while as jumping the Empire State building is not. Thus my point.
For example  if i wanted to be an elite gymnast or a paramedic i could. First of all i would have to train hard enough, thus the determination. Where would people be if we couldn't accomplish anything?
People in history use this as their motivation.  Number one,Thomas Edison. Edison failed many times at creating the light bulb, but he  was determined enough  to eventually accomplish his goal. Number two, Helen Keller. Nobody believed that she would be able to do anything but she learned to speak.
           Quotes that Support Me
  1.  He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.
  2.  But with the right kind of coaching and determination you can accomplish anything and the biggest accomplishment that I feel I got from the film was overcoming that fear.
    Reese Witherspoon

  3.  We would accomplish many more things if we did not think of them as impossible.

So this concludes my point that anything can be accomplished with enough courage and determination.

  1. I like your optimism, Hannah, and I do think that MOST things CAN be accomplished with determination and courage. Yes, there are some ridiculous scenarios that can't be done and yes, there are people who are physically restricted (ex: someoen who has a spinal injury won't be able to run, walk, etc), but determination overcomes many obstacles. Good quotations too! I like how your voice came out here (just remember to still pay attention to conventions like capitilazation, etc)
